Welcome to Love Me Twice.

Since 2008, Love Me Twice has been providing consignment bridal sales in Melbourne.

Our collection of pre-loved wedding gowns features designs from both well-known local and international bridal brands, as well as high-end Australian bridal couture.

We recognize the unique characteristics of every gown, understand the care and construction processes of various styles, and are here to guide brides in finding the dress for their special day.

Online Listings

The preloved market has evolved considerably since we first started in 2008.

We currently find there is a general ceiling of expenditure from brides looking for preloved. This seems to be hovering around the $1500 mark.

There are definitely brides who are still looking for premium gowns and will purchase at the sellers requested prices,Please feel free to register your interest below with your gown details and we can outline what might be the best direction for your gown.

We can also only accept consignment gowns that are from Bridal collections within the previous 2 years.

Or, if it a custom couture gown outside of this timeframe, please email a photo and details and we will review.

For sellers who just need a little bit of assistance and not full in store consignment,we have a change room available for fittings as a stand alone service.

Our changeroom and alterations specialist can be made available on an as needed basis, should you need that assistance.

Our consignment period is for 3 months at a time.

​

Gowns must be clean (if unworn, that is ok, if worn, they must be dry-cleaned/ washed)​

​

We measure each gown as well as take detail photos to utilise online. These are made available to you to utilise, should your gown not find a new bride in your consignment period.

​

Consignment deliveries are set to certain dates. If you are not able to deliver your gown on the set date, you can select to next consignment period.

We have limited space, so waiting periods may apply. We are looking at a second location, so please register your interest and we can advise which location has upcoming consignment space.

Online listings through websites such as Still White offer a platform

for sellers and buyers to connect directly.

 

The main reason brides choose to come to our styling studio is to receive professional styling advice and an accurate idea on costs associated with potential alterations.

 

We have introduced a dressing room booking service in our Croydon studio, for sellers and brides who would like to connect and meet up in a professional styling studio without the costs associated with consignment.

 

All communications in regards to the actual dress remains between the buyer and the seller. The gown remains with the seller and is only brought to the studio when booked in with brides. 

 

Some brides may find several dresses online and book a dressing room to meet multiple sellers with their gowns in one session. Likewise, a seller may have multiple brides that they can schedule to meet in the one booking also.

Consignment Consideration 2025

Thank you for your interest in our signature bridal consignment service.   We are delighted to be the leading pre-loved bridal consignment store in Melbourne since 2008.  


Information in this form is used by Love Me Twice to determine if and when your gown will be suitable for placement in our store.  


Our aim is to present a variety of gowns in differing styles and sizes to current brides. As certain categories fill up, we will keep you on our database to advise when there is space for your gown.


Our consignment service is a retail/consultation offering and covers the complete management of the sale of your gown.


If you prefer to advertise on your own, this link provides a 10% discount for new listings www.stillwhite.com.au (Still White is not affiliated with Love Me Twice in any way. We provide referrals to their platform as we do understand that consignment is not suitable for everyone.)


With a ready to wear gown, timing is everything, so we cannot guarantee the timeframe in which your gown is likely to sell.

It all comes down to the right bride at the right time with a similar body shape, style preference and budget.

Some gowns do not find a new bride within a single consignment period. If this is the case, you are welcome to request an extension to your placement.

In deciding whether you would like to submit your gown for consideration, our fees are as follows:$80 placement fee, non-refundable, for 3 months placement. (About the cost of 1 coffee per week!)

Selling fee is 50% of the successful selling price. (10% is gst.) 

Transfers from the sale of gowns are made the following Tuesady after funds have cleared.

We find that the majority of brides are happy to spend around half of the original retail price . 

Gowns in store are generally priced between 40% - 70%, the majority being around 50% if they are no more than 1 year old and in great condition.

 Gowns older than 2 years are still considered for placement, feel free to still send through, as some past style trends are still popular.


Due to the number of enquiries, you will only be contacted if/when your gown is suitable for upcoming collections.

Please attach a couple of images of your gown, so we can review the style.
