About the Gown
The Lancaster gown by Jane Hill is a beautiful example of modern Australian bridal design—clean, structured and timeless, with just enough drama.
Crafted in Light Ivory Mikado, Lancaster combines a fitted bodice with a full A-line skirt, creating definition through the waist before falling into a beautifully structured bridal silhouette.
What makes this particular Lancaster especially lovely is its statement bow detail, which was added for the original bride to personalise the design. She was the first Jane Hill bride to add a bow to the Lancaster style, making this a more individual interpretation of the original gown.
The result is a gown that feels classic without being overly traditional: beautiful on its own with minimal styling, or an ideal foundation for a more editorial veil, jewellery or accessories.

This gown is labelled a size 18, but has previously been altered. For this reason, we strongly recommend using the gown's current measurements rather than relying on the original size label.
Current Gown Measurements: Bust: 98 cm Waist: 80 cm Waist to front hem: 120 cm
Due to the construction of the bodice, there is some potential to accommodate a larger bust measurement.
For reference, the original Jane Hill size 18 measurements recorded for this gown were:
Bust: 109 cm Waist: 86 cm Hip: 117 cm

Depending on your measurements and requirements, possibilities may include adjustments to the bodice and fit, hem and skirt, or further personalisation of the gown.
The Lancaster's clean Mikado silhouette also provides a beautiful foundation for styling with a veil, sleeves or other bespoke bridal accessories.
Alterations and personalisation are quoted separately and are subject to the construction and condition of the gown.
