Why Place your gown on consignment? Alot of brides have mentioned that it can take ages (years sometimes) before their gown sells. This is sometimes because alot 'brides to be' don't want to travel here, there and everywhere! By having a selection of gowns in one location makes it more accessable for those brides. More exposure of your gown means it is more likely to sell!

Why sell my gown with you?
Love Me Twice offers an easy & hassle free service to sell your gown without the stress & insecurity of strangers coming to your home. With the benefit of regular bridal traffic in a dedicated retail bridal salon in an accessible location of
How much should I sell my gown for?
The sale price is up to you. We generally recommend placing a price tag of around half (or less) of the original price you paid. It is a good idea to think of what you would pay for a pre-loved gown. It is understandable to think of the value of the gown when you originally purchased it, but it is important to put yourself in the buyers shoes and what they would be willing to pay for a gown that has been worn before.
How long will it take to sell my gown?
We cannot put a timeframe on the sale of your gown. We have gowns that sell within a few weeks of being placed with us and others can take up to a year or more.
We specify a 1 year placement, as most gowns will sell within that timeframe. If not, we will re-asses at the end of that term and discuss with you what steps you would like to take.
What is the placement fee & consignment rate?
Our placement fee is $80 for a one year term payable upon drop off of gown. Please contact us for our consignment rate. The consignment amount is retained from the sale price.
How many brides visit the store?
We generally have around 20-25 brides per week. Numbers can fluctuate depending on time of year.
How do I know how my gown is going? Do I get updates?
Our priority is to sell your gown according to the details set out in your placement form. We may have many brides that will try on your gown before it gets sold. We will contact you in the event that your gown is sold, has had a deposit placed on it or if an offer has been made. We don’t notify every time a bride tries on your gown. The important news is if it is in the process of being sold. If you wish to advise us of any variations from your placement form please email these changes to us, as changes are required in writing. If it appears that there is little interest in your gown, we may contact you to discuss options of improving the saleability of your gown. This may include a suggestion to reduce the price.
